Nebula Kiosk Tablet is designed as an all in one self service kiosk. The tablet combines a commercial grade reliability with the powerful processor and an optional power over ethernet (POE).

The kiosk tablet offers a wide assortment of optional peripherals such as magnetic card swipe, RFID/NFC & barcode readers that enables flexibility for rigorous continuous public use for fitness consoles, system terminals, retail e-catalog, employee access control, corporate check-in, restaurant self-ordering, hotel check-in, etc.

It is not a consumer tablet and engineered for commercial environments with a supported 3 year supply. Kiosk Tablet is Android 9.0 where it is developed for fixed applications with no battery power included.

A license free kiosk lockdown app is installed in Nebula kiosk tablet , not only that Glory Star offers a high level of customization that allows customers to integrate tablets such as touch screens to your IOT products.

What is the process to apply security patches or updates to the tablets that are released from Android? Is there any OTA that can be used?

Glory Star runs on a customized android firmware which would require Glory Star to release new firmware with updates for upgrade.

How do we update our app remotely?

Through StarControl Remote MDM, you can register a free trial here www.thestarcontrol.com

You need to activate Star Control on STAROS kiosk app on our Nebula Devices, enter the serial number on Star Control, ensure that the devices are connected to WIFI, once it is connected, you will be able to remotely control the tablets, therefore you can remotely update the apps, webpages, videos or firmware.

Does it support wifi enterprise security like wpa2-enterprise?

The wifi module can support 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2×2 Access Points with MIMO standard, the level of wifi enterprise depends on router and IT settings.
